Safety

Daystar takes safety very seriously.  On each of our sites before any work is performed, Daystar creates a site-specific Safety Plan.  The plan is developed to ensure all services performed are in accordance with standard electrical and photovoltaic safety practices.

Generally, our plan includes:

  • Job Classifications Required for the Job
  • Job Hazard Analysis
  • Training Required for Employees
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Support Equipment and Safe Operations
  • Fire Protection Mitigation
  • Fall Protection Rules if Applicable
  • Pre-Shift Job Site Briefings
  • Emergency Action Plans
  • Flammable & Hazardous Material Evaluation
  • Vehicle Traffic Control if Applicable

Why Safety?

Our overall objectives of safety is to protect the wellbeing of our workers and to prevent damage to your equipment and property.

Daystar also uses safety to raise awareness to a conscious level so our employees and subcontractors are all exposed to the same messaging,  communicating daily about risks, and taking the appropriate reactions to mitigate safety mishaps.
